My Bio
Mental Health in UK (MHUK) Web site was created in 1998. It started off a very
small personal project of mine and expanded to what it is today - an .. UK mental health organisation. The main ideas are to reform people's concepts about
what it means to have a mental health problem by informing and enlightening everyone with our creativity, talent and imagination and to provide support and
friendship via the .. community setup here.
I do have a personal page on the site - All About Me although that is not the main focus, but something for me to document my life and as a way of expression - sometimes about my frustrations that I've had with the mental health system here in Scotland. There are also personal pics, my pets and charitable events.
Something that I will be adding to over the next couple of years is "Challenging the Psychiatric System". I obtained full copies of my notes over a period of 16 years and I feel recovered and strong enough to make points about what has been written and to provide an insight into how certain events and observations can be widely misconstrued. This I believe changed the course of how I was treated and likewise does with many other people stuck in the system.
A chapter in my life is now closed and I am officially discharged from the system - but my notes will always be there.

Still having probs sorting out this yuko business - for some reason it won't let me reply to your message. Have been keeping my head down lately and isolating myself which is never a good thing but hey its who I am! - there is lots of crap going on here atm, most of it to do with work. Mandi is holding up pretty well, doing just enough to keep dr off her back, I have to arrange for some more bone scans as I am pretty sure she has something going wrong with her spine, it looks sorta crooked and curved to me and she stoops a lil when she walks. I will pop on and update when I can.
